Gerard Marino, the composer behind the music for various games in the *God of War* series, will be coming to Brazil to participate in the BIG Festival 2017, specifically in a special panel about the game music industry. Gerard will discuss his career, starting from his beginnings as a DJ. Also participating in the panel will be Antonio Teoli, a Brazilian game composer known for his work on the soundtracks for *Taikodom*, *Finding Monsters Adventures*, *Rock'n'Rails*, *Jelly Splash*, and others.

The BIG Festival, an annual indie games fair held in São Paulo, has become one of the most important events globally for indie developers and crucial for the growth of the Brazilian game industry. In 2016, over 18,000 people attended the festival, testing games and allowing studios to gather feedback and engage with the community.

The fifth edition of the BIG Festival will take place from June 24 to July 2 at the Centro Cultural São Paulo, in São Paulo. The finalists for the awards will be available for the public to test on computers, tablets, smartphones, and consoles in a free exhibition.
